Retail Staff Pharmacist - Wilmington, DE

A hybrid inpatient/outpatient pharmacist position is available in Delaware, requiring an active Delaware pharmacist license. This contract opportunity offers experience in both hospital automated dispensing systems and retail pharmacy dispensing with potential for temp-to-hire.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee medication needs for automated dispensing cabinets at hospital locations
  • Initiate daily cartfill operations efficiently
  • Float to retail pharmacy as needed for dispensing duties
  • Utilize pharmacy systems including Cerner and Omnicell to maintain workflow
Qualifications:
  • Pharm.D. degree or B.S. Pharmacy with equivalent relevant experience
  • Current licensure in the State of Delaware is mandatory
  • Clinical pharmacy experience preferred for effective patient care and medication management
Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday
  • 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

This role is ideal for pharmacists seeking hands-on pharmacy practice across different healthcare settings with a flexible transition to permanent employment. Candidates should be comfortable supporting automated dispensing technology and varied medication processing tasks.
