Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team at Martin Coast Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare. As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for creating engaging activities and programs to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging activities and programs for residents, including arts, crafts, games, and entertainment events

• Collaborate with residents, families, and other team members to identify activities and programs that meet their interests and needs

• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, promoting socialization and a sense of community

• Assist with scheduling and coordinating activities, ensuring that events run smoothly and efficiently

• Maintain accurate records and reports of activities and programs

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care and service for our residents

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0 years of experience in healthcare or a related field (training provided)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
