Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,911 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Tallahassee, Florida.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: ED - Emergency Department
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 12 weeks
• 48 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, evenings, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Number of Beds : 39

· Patient Ratios : 1:4

· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : one unit secretary and 2-3 techs on the floor

· Type of equipment : Crash Carts, Level One, Alaris Pumps, Dash bedside cardiac monitors

· Documentation system: MediTech

· Scheduling requirements: 4wk schedule posts 2wks prior to start date, preferred three 12hr shifts/wk

· Floating policy: ER hold unit while at capacity, rare during summer months

· Patient Experience requirements: 30-1hr patient rounding and bedside shift report

Hospital Specifics-

· Certifications: ACLS,BLS,PALS

Must have : 3-5yrs ER experience

Advanced skills needed: Assist in intubation and emergency lifesaving procedures.

Procedures performed on unit: Chest tubes, Moderate sedation, LP, laceration repair, blood products

Certifications Required:  ACLS,BLS,PALS
