Front of House Manager

- FOH managers engage in a variety of duties that relate to the management of font-of-house staff and restaurant processes. They generally have more responsibilities in larger, more well-established dining rooms. In smaller dining establishments, they may only supervise a few food service employees.
- An effective FOH manager is able to manage servers, hosts, bartenders and other staff and ensure that they follow high customer service standards while also promoting positive relations between different front-of-house teams and increasing cohesion. Food service employees often value FOH managers who help each team member succeed in their role.
