Treasury Specialist

The Settlement Support team delivers ongoing operational support related to several highly regulated and high-risk manual processes including Fedwire, bank changes, adjustments, reconciliations and balancing, tax withholding and remittance, invoicing, check processing, and liens, levies, and garnishments and court ordered holds.

Some processes are automated. Some are manual.

This position will be based at our Whitehall location in Columbus, OH, going into the office 2 times a week, remote 3 times a week, and performing fed wires, reconciliations and balancing, and liens, levies, garnishments, and court ordered holds.

They need a contractor because they have someone going on leave, through Oct 2nd. Detailed oriented, no error as its highly regulated process.

They will do fed wires, creating and approving wires. Balancing diners club international

To go into the mailroom, reconcile and execute notices receives specifically for garnishment.

They will do an in-person training.

Day to day – 7 AM login. Focusing on wires and reporting. They would approve wire; there is always a deadline. They will process levies, then DCI balancing activities and processing a daily balancing and reconciliation, and escalating any miscellaneous credits, World Pay system balancing, so World Pay is is one of the vendors that we use on the merchant side, so be doing some daily balancing, reporting monthly holds, reporting processing liens, levies, garnishments, processing our court-ordered holds, and processing check requests, and ach rejects reporting.

They have a physical mail room so one of the additional responsibilities in OH location would be ne of the responsibilities will also be to go into the physical mail room to reconcile and to execute and process the notices received specifically for levees, garnishments, court order holds, tax notices, etc.

Fed wires, and payments space

10 years of hands-on experience in payment space, no strategic or managing experience.

Effective communication

Attentive to detail

Time management

Excel/Google sheets proficiency

Garnishment and levies, court orders, settlement, and Balancing would be preferred
