Occupational Therapist

Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide inpatient rehabilitation services. The selected candidate will deliver patient-centered care in a hospital setting, supporting recovery and functional improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine their rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on therapy exercises and injury management strategies.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Maryland or Compact occupational therapy license.
• Possess at least 11 years of inpatient rehab experience.
• Be willing to float between units within scope of practice.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Successfully pass a nicotine screening; candidates must be nicotine-free.
• Previous inpatient rehab hospital experience preferred.
