Job Title: Warehouse/Back-up Delivery Driver Status: Full-TimeReports to: Site ManagerLocation: Ravenna, OhioPosition Objective: Provides the highest level of customer service to customers with a passion of enthusiasm, maintain a safe and organized area. This position requires a flexible schedule with some Saturday & Sunday hours. This employee will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.Position Responsibilities: This position requires a clean driving record, along with a strong work ethic and be passionate about providing great customer service.Essential Functions:• Maintain a positive attitude, pleasant, and service-oriented image when communicating with others.• Handle transactions, voids, markdowns, gift certificates, and tax-exempt purchases.• Stock and count merchandise as needed.• Operate tow motor and/or electric pallet jack• Load and unload products onto or from pallets, trays, racks, or shelves.• Maintain safe and clean areas• Daily deliveries, as needed, to customers using hand truck and pallet jack• Safety while driving is the first priority• Preventative maintenance and cleanliness of truck is critical• Daily productivity of truck is the responsibility of driver • Maintain a clean driving record• Load customer vehicles• Assist customers in the store• Fill propane tanks • Set up store displays• Balance out drawer to daily tickets• Create a positive experience for the customer• Other tasks as assignedSkills: Excellent verbal and listening skills, problem solving skills, strong attention to detail skills, and strong ability to follow-up. Identify and read tickets and labels on products. This position requires physical demands, loading and unloading bagged products throughout the day.
