Shipper 2Division/Department: FulfillmentReports to:Approved By:Viewed By: Human Resources- NJFRequired Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm & Friday 7am-3:30pm 2nd Shift - Monday to Thursday 3:45PM – 11:45PM & Sunday 9AM-6PMJob Overview: Experienced shipping associates are responsible for storing, verifying, and preparing merchandise for shipment including but not limited to selecting packaging, staging, moving product via U-boat, and labeling.Essential Responsibilities: Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes Use RF Scanner and Warehouse Management System to complete shipment process for large items Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer's orders Pack and seal boxes following standard proceduresAdditional Responsibilities: As assigned by the managerSpecific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistance Extended periods of standing/walking (10+ hours/day) Attention to detail and ability to count Must be able to locate and identify specific items Must be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard proceduresPreferred Education, Experience and Licenses: Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse High school diploma or equivalent required.Physical Environment/Occupational Risks: Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance.
