It also functions as the intake unit for all women entering the Indiana Department of Correction. The facility provides assessments to identify appropriate placement and programming for each individual. Educational and vocational opportunities include cosmetology, parenting support, and a long-standing partnership with Televerde that offers pre- and post-release employment pathways. Staff maintain a structured environment focused on safety, growth, and re-entry preparation. The campus supports a wide range of rehabilitative programming.Salary: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $42,900.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows:Research and compile information on specific aspects of the program such as procedures, needs and policiesAnswer basic customer questions about program policies and procedures.Establish, organize, and maintain current and historical files related to the program.Collect information to help in the preparation of program reports, develop applications, prepare budget allocations and/or purchasing of consultative services.Maintain, organize, and monitor program assets.Schedule, prepare, and disseminate all program related training materials.The job profile is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
