Registered Nurse (RN) - Day ShiftThis is a 13-week contract position.Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts.The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN will actively promote patient and employee safety and will participate in patient rehabilitation programs based on the nursing process.ResponsibilitiesPerform a comprehensive nursing assessment within 8 hours of patient admission.Identify teaching needs and goals related to the patient's diagnosis in collaboration with the patient/family and the interdisciplinary team.Provide timely patient information and status updates for team conferences.Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in accordance with policy.Engage in direct patient care by utilizing the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.Ensure continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information to other care providers.Provide direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.Maintain a safe environment according to hospital and nursing policies.Contribute to unit efficiency by fostering positive interactions among staff and families.Assume charge responsibilities as needed.Engage in professional development through continuous education.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureBLS Certification required prior to the first shift.ACLS certification required prior to the first shift (specific to certain units).A minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
