Senior Associate, Expert Services

We are looking for a Senior Associate to act as the lead assistant on small/medium projects for our Delay experts involved in international arbitration and litigation. You will be responsible for providing advisory services to Clients seeking to enhance their commercial performance and corporate governance including the introduction and improvement of project controls and risk management.Day-to-day responsibilities:Drafting expert reports and analysis for the final reportsManaging the workload and tasks of the project teamManages budgets and fee reportsSupporting Clients and their consultants engaged in ADR and the delivery of complex and challenging major projects and programmes of workReviewing documents on varied project types in a broad range of industries, for example infrastructure, oil & gas and residentialDrafting notes and external communications to assist with the overall project scope and individual work streamsDrafting project and fee proposals for small/medium projects and assist on proposals for large projects.Presenting and participating in client meetingsRegularly attending marketing events – client events, seminars and lectures to build relationships in the field.Essential traits:You have a degree in Construction or a related field, a relevant MSc in engineering and/or Construction Law would be an advantageYou have 3+ years of construction related industry experience – preferably in project management, planning or project control You have experience in performing detailed delay forensic analysis or drafting of claims You have experience of drafting sections of expert reportsYou have experience with planning software, including Primavera P6 and MS ProjectYou have excellent analytical skills, an attention to detail and exceptional report writing skillsYour recruiter will be happy to walk you through your U.S.-specific benefits, which include:Healthcare Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.Time Off and Leave Policies: Generous paid time off (PTO), paid company holidays, generous parental and family leave.Protective Insurances: Life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, and accident protection.Compensation and Rewards: Competitive salary structures, performance-based incentives, and merit-based compensation reviews.Retirement Plans: 401(k) plans with company matching.Please note that benefits may vary by region, department and role.
