Come and experience your future!THE WORKDevelops, modifies and applies quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make and/or buy software products.Performs verification and validation of test equipment including hardware in the loop systems.Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.Designs and implements software development and maintenance processes.Defines audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processes.Designs, specifies and conducts test methods for software inspection, verification and validation.Evaluates and analyzes software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Our products keep our customers safe and bring them home to their families at night.WHO YOU AREYou thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment and are committed to delivering best-in-class products and solutions.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.• Knowledge of quality systems/processes and expertise in external quality standards• Ability to interpret software design and code to verify the implementation of requirements• Proficient skill with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearanceDesired SkillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage and resolve technical issues with multiple teams, suppliers, and customersBackground in a STEM discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field).Knowledge of software development life cycle modelsKnowledge of configuration management and control toolsTechnical experience in a related discipline (e.g., Quality Engineering, System Safety, Engineering, Integration & Test)Experience in supporting Agile/Scrum software developmentExperience with ClearQuest, DOORS, VersionOne (Agility), and/or other Configuration Management toolsExperience with Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)Experience with code collaborator toolsExperience in test planning, processing, and nonconformance processing, including root cause analysis and corrective action developmentExperience in establishing quality assurance performance metrics for identifying process improvementExperience with US Military customers and/or other government customer support organizationsLean/Six Sigma Green beltASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE)Knowledge of AS9100D and CMMI requirementsAble to work independently in an environment with challenging requirements and dynamic schedulesPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
