Public Tax Senior - Birmingham, Al
Our client has an opening for a Senior tax accountant with 5+ years of public accounting experience, primarily in tax. You will have a great deal of responsibility and client interaction, as well as exposure to a large variety of engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, and closely-held businesses, estimated tax payments and extensions, and Federal and State tax audits
- Assist interns and new staff with tax preparation and firm processes
- Develop client relationships
- Research and analysis of technical issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Tax
- CPA
- 5+ years of public accounting experience (tax)
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
