In this highly visible leadership role, you'll be responsible for fostering a warm, nurturing environment that enhances the quality of life for both residents and team members.As the Executive Director / Administrator, you'll oversee all aspects of community operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while driving excellence in care, culture, and performance.This role may also be known as:Executive Director, Assisted Living Administrator, Community Administrator, Senior Living Administrator, or Residential Living Administrator, Residential Care Facility Administrator, Continuing Care Rewtirement Community Administrator,What You'll DoLeadership & Community ManagementLead with a resident-first mindset, prioritizing compassionate care, safety, and quality of life.Set clear expectations, model accountability, and foster a positive, service-oriented culture.Team Collaboration & DevelopmentCultivate a culture of teamwork, transparency, and open communication across all departments.Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team of caregivers and support staff.Operational ExcellenceOversee medical, nursing, and administrative functions to ensure smooth and effective daily operations.Enforce policies and procedures that support high standards of care and regulatory compliance.Fiscal & Performance ManagementDevelop and manage the community budget, monitor expenses, revenue, and occupancy.Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies, revenue growth, and operational improvement.Community & Family EngagementBuild strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families.Engage with the local community to promote Americare's mission and strengthen the community's reputation.Facility & Asset ManagementOversee building maintenance, improvements, and equipment upgrades to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents and team members.What You BringLicensure & CredentialsCurrent state Administrator licensure or certification, as required by state regulations.Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Certified Medication Technician (CMT), if required by the state.Valid driver's license with a good driving record.EducationBachelor's degree preferred. Relevant fields may include Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Gerontology, or a related discipline.ExperienceMust be at least 18 years of age.Proven experience successfully managing, leading, and developing teams in a senior living or healthcare leadership role.Skills & KnowledgeStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and relationships with residents, families, team members, and community partners.Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, medical terminology, medication management protocols, and compliance standards.Physical DemandsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.Occasionally assist with safely transferring residents.Vision requirements include near and far vision with good depth perception.Join Americare Senior Living and lead with compassion while driving the success of an Assisted Living Community that truly makes a difference.
