Job Description We are looking for a motivated Associate Photo Editor to be a part of a groundbreaking online news team for Fox News Media. You will be offered the following shift: Monday‑Friday, 11:00 AM ET – 7:00 PM ET. Hours are subject to change. You must be available to work alternate hours when needed. A Snapshot of Your Responsibilities Editing and optimizing original photography and video for web and devices Booking travel for photographers Assigning photographers to assignments Assist with handling invoices and tracking billing Adhering to and auditing detailed SEO requirements Incorporating edits from supervisors Utilizing real‑time analytics tools to track the success of photo & video‑driven stories Creating and updating slideshows to capture important and compelling events Communicating with news professionals in an assignment desk setting Maintaining a database of contacts and story ideas Working with all verticals (assisting) including Entertainment, U.S. News, Lifestyle, Business, and World Teams by pitching visual stories and pulling in wire and partner content Monitoring social media platforms and forums for the latest breaking or trending news items of interest to Fox News readers Multitasking on tight deadlines in a high‑pressure environment Prioritizing assignments and meeting deadlines What You Will Need A bachelor's degree in political science, communications, journalism, graphic arts or another related discipline One year of experience working in a daily breaking news environment Ability to work under deadline pressures with editors and reporters Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays Proven creative mind with a great eye for detail Experience in Photoshop, Premiere, Bridge, and/or Lightroom Prior experience working in a DAM or CMS is highly desired An interest in photography is a plus We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, is $60,000.00–75,000.00 annually.
