Team-based care, thoughtful caseloads, and strong infrastructure make this work meaningful—and sustainable over time.The RoleWe are hiring a Mental Health Therapist to join our upcoming clinic in Orange, CA as part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering personalized, compassionate, high-quality care for individuals with SMI. Onsite supervision for limited permits is available.What You Will Work OnProvide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patientsProvide continuous, regular support as patients navigate recovery, both in person and occasionally virtuallyDeliver evidence-based care in a holistic, wrap-around care modelCollaborate with patient care teams and behavioral health providers to ensure an integrated, cohesive approach to careAddress medical needs to mitigate negative impacts of social determinants of healthProvide consultation to therapists on the treatment team, including licensed therapists and trainees; assist with program developmentWhat You'll HaveActive Licensed Psychologist, LMSW, AMFT, or LPC license in the state of CA; onsite supervision for limited permits availableThrives in a collaborative team environment and establishes positive relationships with other medical professionalsExperience and interest in working with adults and at least 1 year of experience working with patients with severe mental illnessExperience in evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, or MIAbility to navigate challenging situations with professionalismThorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standardsTechnologically savvy, with the ability to learn and navigate new tools and technologiesHighly organized with the ability to work autonomouslyStrong listening skills and excellent verbal communication capabilitiesWhat We're BuildingAs a clinician at Amae, you are not adjacent to this work. Base salary range for this role is $75,000- $115,000 (full-time schedule) + performance-based bonus opportunity. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
