Medical Lab Technician

As an essential member of the laboratory team, the Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine laboratory testing and procedures in accordance with established protocols and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while receiving technical guidance and supervision as needed. Responsibilities include the accurate processing of biological specimens from collection and initial handling through testing and result reporting across multiple laboratory disciplines. The Medical Laboratory Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of laboratory results that support patient diagnosis and treatment. This position serves patients of all ages and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. • Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks
• Day shift position
• Shifts include 7:30am – 4:30pm and 8:15am – 5:15pm
• On-site position at CentraCare Clearwater Clinic
• Position may be required to travel to other CentraCare locations

Pay and Benefits: * Starting pay $25.20 per hour, exact wage determined by years of related experience

[ * Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available Qualifications: * Associate’s degree from an accredited Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT)/Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Program or other qualifications as outlined by CLIA regulation, section 493.1489 for employees hired before September 1, 1997 required

• New Graduate’s degree must be validated within 2 months post-graduation
• BOC certified or exam completed within 6-months of hire with verification

within six weeks of exam required

• At least 1 years recent experience in a clinical laboratory preferred
• Good computer knowledge and input skills
• Transportation available for off campus laboratory related activities may be
