Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care within the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with hospital standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, document findings accurately, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Educate patients and family members on health management and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control standards, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg, IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Hold an active New Hampshire RN license or a compact state license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR systems and cardiac drip management.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Willingness to float to Kingsbury as needed and own transportation due to location constraints.
• Experience managing dementia patients and familiarity with NIHSS is highly preferred.
