Role Overview

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, you will perform essential diagnostic testing and quality control procedures supporting accurate and timely patient results. This role includes moderate- to high-complexity testing, maintaining laboratory systems and equipment, prepping reagents, and contributing to a smooth, efficient laboratory workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing and quality control procedures

• Prepare reagents and accurately report laboratory results

• Review and oversee moderate- to high-complexity testing

• Monitor and maintain laboratory computer applications

• Maintain equipment, instruments, and supply inventory

• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards

• Work collaboratively within the laboratory and across clinical teams

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

?? Education - Required

• Associate's degree in Medical Technology or related scientific field

?? Education - Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field

?? Certification & Licensure - Required

• State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

?? Experience - Required

• Minimum of four (4) months of Clinical laboratory experience
