Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery
This position involves working four 10-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. On-call duties are required, scheduled to ensure availability during specified hours. The on-call requirement includes responding to the hospital within 30 minutes of being contacted by a supervisor. Additionally, one weekend on-call duty will be required every five weeks, lasting from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on either Saturday or Sunday.
The surgical unit is currently experiencing staffing challenges, with three recent resignations and five open positions posted. This is a high-pressure environment, operating as a level 3 trauma center, demanding dedication and rapid response to emergent situations.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
Valid nursing license/certificate verification is necessary.
