About the Position This is an independent practice opportunity for plastic surgeons who wish to own and operate their own practice with structured operational support from MedCBO. Physicians will maintain full ownership, clinical autonomy, and decision‑making authority for patient care. MedCBO will provide non‑clinical services such as revenue cycle management, coding, payer contracting, EHR and technology platform, credentialing, accounting, HR, supply chain, and workflow systems. Physician Responsibilities Provide patient care within the specialty scope of plastic surgery. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO participation as required. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation. Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a plastic surgery specialty appropriate to the services offered. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed and subject to licensure requirements. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions.
