Location: Ardent Dental - Hometown Full-Time Dental Assistant Hometown Dental - Canton, MI Pay range $19-23 depending on experience Hometown Dental is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dependable Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Canton, Michigan! We are a patient-focused dental practice providing comprehensive family, cosmetic, restorative, implant, orthodontic, and emergency dental care. Our goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient while delivering high-quality dentistry using modern technology. What You'll Do Responsibilities As a Dental Assistant at Hometown Dental, you will play an important role in supporting our doctors and providing an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities include: Assisting the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments Taking dental X-rays and assisting with digital imaging Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection-control standards Providing compassionate chairside support and patient education Helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits Preparing materials and instruments for restorative and surgical procedures Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Supporting the dental team with day-to-day clinical needs What We're Looking For Previous dental assisting experience preferred Dental assisting certification/credentials as required by Michigan regulations Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Warm, friendly, and professional personality Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively in a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment Commitment to providing exceptional patient care Why Join Hometown Dental?
