Claims Supervisor

Responsibilities Candidate must have excellent leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to guide and develop a team of adjusters. They must possess excellent writing skills, understand and comply with company claim handling procedures as well as applicable Department of Insurance regulations, and ensure direct reports do the same. Responsibilities include effectively handling escalated problem files, overseeing the triage of all water damage claims to determine which claims require an immediate response to mitigate the company’s exposure, and reviewing adjuster and vendor estimates to make corrections where appropriate. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years’ experience adjusting property insurance claims, experience with automated claim systems, and a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience. Experience with the Xactimate estimating program is preferred. Experience handling and managing liability claims is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Required to work in the San Antonio office. Bilingual – English/Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.
