Description The Data Coordinator I reviews, cleans, and audits data so that the appropriate data can be shared. The Data Coordinator extracts data and generates basic and moderately complex reports as required. The Data Coordinator ensures the accuracy of the data and acts as a resource to all users of the database. Responsibilities Collect data and generate basic and moderately complex reports as required, including internal reporting requested by management; may prepare reports for regulatory and accrediting agencies. Review and audit database regularly to ensure data accuracy; make corrections and additions to records as needed. Recommend solutions for data management issues. Assist in training staff of varying knowledge levels to use the database system effectively; act as a resource to all users to assure consistency and accuracy of data. Help staff with technical issues related to the database. Use database knowledge to extract data and generate required reports and queries for statistical analyses in various formats. Update database as required and liaise with IT for complex technical issues or software updates. May oversee data entry staff to ensure data accuracy. May access data in the Data Warehouse. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience. No experience required; one year of database application management experience preferred. Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range of $66,482.07 – $73,000 annually. Actual salaries depend on factors such as experience, education, and operational need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
