Job Title: Licensed Therapist / Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT) – Full-Time

Are you a passionate and licensed therapist or counselor who wants to make a real impact? Provive Wellness of Scranton is actively hiring a Licensed Therapist (LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) to join our dynamic, supportive outpatient team. We help adults and adolescents facing mental health issues and co-occurring substance use disorders get back to living their best lives.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in a compassionate outpatient setting (PHP, IOP, and traditional outpatient).

• Complete thorough mental health and substance use assessments to support treatment planning.

• Use evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care .

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and skills-based groups : anxiety, depression, relapse prevention, life skills, healthy coping, and more.

• Collaborate with a friendly, multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, case managers) to deliver whole-person care.

• Crisis intervention and risk assessment, including referrals and safety planning as needed.

• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation (EHR experience preferred).

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.

• Active PA license (LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT, or similar).

• At least 1 year of experience in mental health counseling or therapy (bonus if you’ve worked with dual diagnosis/co-occurring disorders).

• Strong communicator, team player, and committed to ongoing learning.

• Bonus: experience in PHP or IOP programs , and comfort with electronic health records .
