Travel RN Opportunities At UAB St. Vincent's

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is actively hiring Travel Registered Nurses (Med/Surg, ICU, SDU, Cath Lab & more) for multiple units at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham & East campuses.

Position Overview

• Schedule: 36 hours/week (3x12s)
• Contract Length: 13–16 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Charting System: Cerner

Compensation (Travel)

• Pay Rate: $23/hr.
• Weekly Gross: ~$2,028
• Stipends:
  • Meals: $420/week
  • Housing: $780/week

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in specialty applied for
• Previous travel experience REQUIRED
• Cerner experience REQUIRED
• Active Alabama RN License or Compact License (no pending licenses)
• BLS Certification
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Strong clinical judgment & critical thinking skills

Important Notes

• No guaranteed block scheduling (managers will try to accommodate when possible)
• Must be flexible with scheduling, including holidays
• Openings: 14 total across various units

Role Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care using the nursing process, demonstrating clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to coordinate care efficiently while supporting the healthcare team.
