Outpatient Nephrology Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Nephrology Nurse to provide quality patient care in a clinic setting. This role will focus on managing chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, ensuring they receive optimal treatment and support.

This position offers a standard schedule of 8 hours per day, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no weekends, on-call duties, or major holidays required.

Provide comprehensive nursing care to outpatient nephrology patients.

Monitor and assess patient health, including vital signs, and report changes to the healthcare team.

Educate patients and families about CKD management and treatment options.

Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Assist with procedures as necessary in accordance with established protocols.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, with at least 2 years in acute care settings.

Experience with chronic kidney disease (CKD) preferred.

Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system is required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.

As a member of our nursing team, you may be required to participate in mandatory overtime as needed to ensure appropriate coverage for patient care.
