Position Summary:
The Physician Assistant (PA) provides primary and urgent medical care to patients within a correctional healthcare setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Requirements:

• Current New York State Physician Assistant license
• NCCPA certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• Ability to work in a secure correctional environment
