Scripps Ranch Veterinary Hospital is an established and growing 3-doctor private practice located in the Scripps Ranch neighborhood of San Diego. We have an opening for an experienced, friendly RVT Veterinary Technician to join our fun and dedicated team.

- Active California RVT license in good standing (required)
- Proven experience performing dental extractions , including surgical extractions, gingival flaps, and multi-rooted teeth (required)
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience as a licensed RVT in a small animal general practice or specialty setting
- Strong proficiency in dental procedures , including dental radiography (full-mouth series), charting, scaling, polishing, and regional nerve blocks
- Experience with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery for dental and surgical patients
- Skilled in patient restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, medication administration, and laboratory procedures (bloodwork, cytology, urinalysis)
- Comfortable assisting with general surgery, radiology (digital X-rays), and emergency care
- Excellent client communication and education skills, with the ability to discuss treatment plans, dental health, and post-operative care
- Team-oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail in medical record-keeping
- Commitment to continuing education and staying current with best practices in veterinary dentistry and patient care
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and fellow team members
- Have a great sense of humor and the ability to be graceful under pressure
