Role Overview

This role supports a Quality of Services Team focused on improving internet service quality. The objective is to shift from a reactive to a proactive service model by leveraging data insights. The Data Analyst will be instrumental in this process by transforming raw data from multiple sources into clear, actionable visualizations for stakeholders and executives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build data visualizations using internal data sources in Tableau via SQL queries.
• Pull and consolidate data from multiple sources, including AWS Athena, Jira, and Postgres databases.
• Perform data collection, analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Design, test, and document processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
• Extract and analyze data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites.
• Respond to data inquiries from various groups within the organization.
• Create and publish regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports.
• Document reporting requirements and processes, and validate data components as required.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Requires 10+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field. Must have experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software.

Technical Skills: Strong SQL and analytical skills are required. Must have knowledge of how to answer questions visually with reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tableau.
• Knowledge of a programmatic language, such as Python.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, IPv4/IPv6).

Compensation and Benefits

The pay rate for this position is anticipated to be between $50.00/hr and $60.00/hr. For applicants residing in Colorado, the compliant rate is $50.00/hr - $56.00/hr.
