Location: Westlake, Ohio (Hybrid)
Our client, a highly respected and rapidly growing public accounting and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Assurance Supervisor to join its expanding Audit & Assurance practice.
This is more than a traditional audit role.

The OpportunityAs an Assurance Supervisor, you'll serve as a key leader within the Audit & Assurance team while helping clients navigate financial reporting, compliance, risk management, and operational challenges.
You'll oversee client engagements, mentor staff, review work products, and partner with firm leadership to deliver exceptional client service.

- Plan, supervise, and complete audit and assurance engagements
- Review engagement workpapers and ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Resolve engagement issues and communicate significant matters to leadership
- Manage multiple engagements while maintaining deadlines and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and industry requirements
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Serve as a trusted resource throughout the engagement process
- Provide exceptional client service and proactive communication
- Identify opportunities to provide additional value and expand service offerings
- Present audit findings and recommendations to clients and management teams
- Supervise Associates and Senior Associates
- Provide coaching, career guidance, and performance feedback
- Assist in training and developing future leaders within the practice
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
- Support recruiting, retention, and staff development initiatives
- Stay current on auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry developments
- Apply technical expertise to complex client situations
- Assist with process improvements and best practices
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Assurance practice
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Master's Degree preferred
- CPA license or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- 4+ years of public accounting experience
- Experience leading audit or assurance engagements
- Strong understanding of auditing standards and financial reporting
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or similar accounting systems
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project-management abilities
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence
