This contract position in the Emergency Department (ER) offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.\n Requirements:\n \n 2+ years of ER experience\n BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required\n Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility preferred\n Must be comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care\n \n Additional Details:\n \n Ratios: 1:3.5\n EPIC documentation\n Pyxis Float required\n Every other or every third weekend\n First-time travelers accepted\n Ohio RN license required\n 36 hours of orientation\n \n Parking Options:\n \n The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits.\n The WMC permit is available monthly with 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage - $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days.\n WB Annual Permit: $196.20/year for weekend and holiday access.\n CXS Annual Permit: $393.96/year for multiple parking locations.\n Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from the medical center.\n The Pink Shuttle runs every 3-5 minutes during peak times, reaching the medical center in approximately 8-9 minutes.\n \n GLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
