Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Role:

An EFDA responsible for supporting dental procedures and ensuring patient care quality.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with dental treatments, managing instruments and materials, maintaining sterilization standards, and documenting patient information using dental software and electronic health records.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current EFDA certification and radiology license.
• Minimum of one year dental assisting experience preferred.
• Current Hepatitis B vaccination and CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials.
• Excellent manual dexterity, communication, and patient management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
