Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position on an Acute Medicine Unit, requiring recent specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Acute Medicine Unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts with schedule varying between 7PM-7AM
• 3 shifts per week for a 13-week assignment
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty required
• Current certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning permanent staff seeking to return as non-local travelers must have a 2-year break in service
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after offer acceptance
