Warehouse Operator, 3rd Shift

Warehouse Forklift OperatorResponsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. This includes loading and unloading ingredients, packaging and finished goods, communicating potential issues, and help maintain an orderly, sanitary and safe environment. This position is also responsible for ensuring refrigerated trucks maintain proper temperatures.ResponsibilitiesComplete a daily pre-shift Forklift Inspection, report and resolve any issuesOperate any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as requiredUse radio frequency equipment for receiving and storing functions as requiredOrganize and maintain the warehouse areas following Good Warehousing Practices including FIFO, housekeeping, allergen controls, and stock rotation (inspecting and rotating products)Identify damaged or contaminated materials and either segregate (Hold) or destroy the items, following written proceduresComplete proper documentation for all inbound loads, track unloading times, report out receiving loads within 24 hoursFacilitate cycle counts, record inventory adjustments, to ensure proper product is available for scheduled production runs.Closely monitor and ensure accurate quantity is availablePlace finished goods away in high levels of racking though-out the warehouseProperly load and unload finished goods into trailers in and out of the DCPerform daily housekeeping duties of warehouseEffectively communicate issues and operations with Management.Understanding of scanning process as related to inventory movementsFollow and monitor GMP and HACCP guidelinesAdhere to Injury & Illness Prevention Program, Food Safety, & SOPs procedures.Operates material handling equipment (MHE) safely around employees and visitors.Ability to pick and pull orders as required by pick sheet.Stock away correct pallet quantities.Develops and maintains positive and professional relationships with all visitors, employees, and management.Works with other departments within the Distribution Center / Plant.Performs other related duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School diploma and/or GED preferred.1 Year Warehouse and Receiving Experience6 months of Crown Stand-Up Forklift experienceForklift certified with the first 30 days of employment.Ability to read, write, and speak in English.Ability to stand, kneel, bend over, climb stairs and ladders and lift/move up to 50 pounds.Must be able to follow and communicate directions thoroughly.Must possess good communication and people skills.Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.ROSS experience and Basic computer knowledge preferred.RedZone system experienceProficient in Microsoft programs and using a scan gun preferred.This position is classified as Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime). The expected hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 – $20.00 per hour based on a full-time schedule. As a 3rd shift employee, your shift differential pay is $1.00 for all hours worked during your assigned shift.
