Part-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant

DecisionOne Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is hiring a Part-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our friendly team in Lake in the Hills, IL!

Schedule (days/hours)

Friday 8-4 (2 times a month)

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and supplies are ready for each patient.
• Take diagnostic records, including X-rays and impressions (as permitted by state regulations).
• Educate patients on orthodontic treatment and oral hygiene.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Document treatment and maintain accurate patient records.
• Help create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient.

Qualifications

• Meet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
• Must have Orthodontic experience

Compensation

$25-$28/hour
