Base Hourly Compensation: $26 SHIFT: Must be willing to work either day shift; 12 hours per day 2/2/3 Schedule. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Document Control Specialist position is responsible for quality and production documentation review, product release, and ensuring all customer/ regulatory documentation requirements are communicated to the Quality Department and sent to the customer as required BENEFITS: The well-being of our team members is critically important to us. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and review data and documentation in DrinkPAK’s Quality Doc Management systems. Maintain and review data and documentation for both in-process and finished goods. Provide documentation to customers and DrinkPAK departments. Work with groups within the organization to obtain up-to-date and accurate documentation supporting ongoing projects. Daily activities could support the new product introduction process, technical customer response, and other documentation. Work within established processes and procedures to improve the flow of information within DrinkPAK and externally with customers. Assist with the development of these procedures and processes. Work with Quality leadership team on new product approval and customer requirements Work independently with various departments, including but not limited to Logistics, Quality, and Operations Always ensure the accuracy of data and documentation. At least 2 years’ experience working in a Document Control related role is required. At least 2 years’ experience in the food industry required. At least 4 years’ experience with customers, suppliers, and departments within a related role Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred. WORKING CONDITIONS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms above the head and below the waist. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10-12 hours.
