In addition to our successes in transplant procedures, Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital is widely recognized for other specialty programs. Our facility earned designation as a Center of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Excellence from the American Society for Bariatric Surgery in 2008. Our sexual assault response team provides a compassionate environment for sexual assault survivors ages 13 and up. This program serves as a model for hospitals and agencies all over the world.

Requested Skill Set: Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) Pre-op and Phase II Surgical Discharge BLS ACLS PALS 2+ Years of Hosp/Travel Exp. Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) PACU EXPERIENCE IV Skills Meditech Experience Preferred Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN) Active TX RN License Temp license are no longer accepted Procedures performed on unit: Pain Blocks with Anesthesia

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color RN: Scrubs provided by the facility Nail Policy Clean and Healthy Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible.
