Team Leader Community Mental Health

Overview As a Team Leader, you supervise 3‑6 Community Support Specialists (CSS) who provide mental health services in the community. You provide direct service and oversee case management, guiding your team, maintaining community relationships, and ensuring program goals are met. Responsibilities Lead and supervise CSS staff, providing direct service and coaching to meet billing targets and support client care. Drive case management by connecting clients to community resources, facilitating appointments, and teaching coping skills. Develop and maintain community relationships and client care plans. Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule and respond to client needs. Provide ongoing training, clinical supervision, and leadership development. Qualifications Passion for mental health advocacy. Strong communication and teaching skills. Adaptability to staff and client needs. Superb time management and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license, current car insurance, and a car for daily use. Willingness to provide transportation to clients. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED certificate and 5 years of supervised clinical experience. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and 2 years of supervised clinical experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Benefits Competitive pay: Salary Range: $58,000–$65,500 annually (commensurate with education and experience).
