This role operates forklifts, Wave machines, and other material handling equipment to move raw and finished goods safely and efficiently throughout the facility. The Warehouse Specialist accurately fulfills orders, verifies product quantities and documentation, prepares domestic and international shipments, and maintains inventory accuracy using Oracle/JDE systems.If your skills and experience are a good match for this role, apply today! This opportunity is based on a Warehouse Specialist career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesOperate a fork truck and/or wave machine by loading and unloading materials onto racks.Operate manual and automatic banding equipment.Operate various power tools.May operate various electric material-moving equipment.Load and unload products.Handle raw and finished materials.Transfer materials to flats for transportation throughout the facility.Verify markings and material certifications.Read and interpret order requirements, receiving reports, and shop orders.Read pick lists, accurately pull correct parts, verify quantities, and audit transactions.Accurately packages, labels, and weighs parts per work instructions and specifications.Coordinate delivery of customer goods with freight companies.Utilize the Oracle/JDE system to complete tasks.Prepare freight bills and process documentation for exports and domestic shipments.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsAbility to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.High School Diploma or GED.Ability to learn and obtain certifications (as required) to operate various material moving equipment, power hand tools, and overhead hoists.Basic math and reading comprehension skills.Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to learn company software, including Oracle/JDE system, within one month of employment.Ability to use computers and other general office equipment.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Able to handle multiple calls, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work in a team environment and perform cross-functional job assignments.Ability to do all of the above under stress and deadlines, sometimes without all available resources.Flexibility in work hours; available to work occasional to frequent overtime.Preferred QualificationsPrevious warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Specialist.Experience with picking and Kitting processes.Experience with Forklift and Wave machinesExperience with Oracle/JDE software.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.Ability to work in a team environment and perform cross-functional job assignments.BenefitsCompetitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life Insurance and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Safety-Focused Warehouse Environment with opportunities for advancement and career growth.No hoops.
