Registered Nurse

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg/Tele. The unit provides care for acute stroke patients and other neurological disorders. The care model focuses on evidence-based practices for stroke prevention and acute care. The RN will be required to interpret dysrhythmias and manage emergency responses. Experience in cardiac monitoring and IV therapy is essential. The role involves peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and management of non-invasive airway equipment. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Daily census for the unit averages around 38 patients. Candidates must have a strong background in managing diverse patient diagnoses, including CVA, TIA, and brain injuries. Flexibility to work every other weekend is necessary.
