Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Manager with proven experience in government accounting. This role is responsible for managing financial records, maintaining accurate books, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate financial records Handle accounts payable and receivable Maintain general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Process payroll and assist with tax preparation documentation Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years bookkeeping experience, at a local government level Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting softwares Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Location/Region: Fayetteville, NC NEW Full Time #J-18808-Ljbffr
