As the full‑time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader’s go‑to in developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into great merchants delivering AEO brand Visual standards every day. Through your leadership, your team always nails floor‑set execution, rocks merchandising and marketing brand standards, and ensures the store is always "guest ready" through effective replenishment. Responsibilities Drive sales as a key Leader on Duty: maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty through a best‑in‑class guest experience. Analyze reporting to make strategic business decisions and develop short‑ and long‑term business plans to drive key KPIs. Coach the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store is representative of AEO Brand Standards and stays in tip‑top shape through day‑to‑day merchandising, sell‑through adjustments and replenishment. Motivate and inspire your team through AEO’s core values, hold them accountable to rocking customer service standards on Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room, and prioritize associate engagement through real‑time coaching and performance reviews. Recruit and hire strong talent to meet business needs, and train and develop the team to provide outstanding service to the best of their abilities. Execute and innovate daily operational procedures, maintain visual standards throughout the store, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are always guest‑ready and rock AEO Brand Standards. Maintain store safety and Asset Protection standards, adhere to AEO policies and procedures, and always do the right thing. Qualifications Love AE and Aerie products. Led retail management teams previously. Excellent multi‑tasking, detail, priority‑setting and time‑management skills. Strong leadership and team development skills; general understanding of employment law. Business acumen. Flexible availability; available to work when guests shop.
