Pay From: $20 Per Hour

MUST: 2+ years of solid medical assisting experience

Experience working in a high volume medical practice handling front and back office duties

Ability to administer and draw up injections

Administer EKG's

Verify insurance

Schedule appointments

Ability to work in very fast paced environment

Strong clinical skills

Strong EMR experience

Obtaining vital signs

Assisting with exams and procedures

Great customer service skills

DUTIES:

The duties of the medical assistant-medical receptionist include but are not limited to the following:

Will room patients

Take histories

Administer EKG's

Verify insurance

Schedule appointments

Assist with exams and procedures

Draw up and administer injections

Remove sutures

Assist doctors

Process labs

Obtain vitals

Assist doctors with exams and procedures

Document patient histories into EMR System
