Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a DC RN license, at least 2 years of L&D experience, and Cerner proficiency for a 13-week night shift contract.

Details

• 13-week travel contract in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, and triage cases
• Procedures include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage, and pre-op care
• Unit activity encompasses admissions, discharges, transfers, and scheduled procedures
• Common equipment includes fetal monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation systems
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted DC RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS (AHA only), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a US hospital required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• All certifications submitted must be AHA-issued
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
