\nAbout the Company
\n \nSilver Stars Fitness is a leading NYC fitness/wellness company that caters and specializes in helping older adults improve their health and overall fitness level.
\n \nAbout the Role
\n \nWe are seeking Yoga & Pilates instructors for our new wellness division. Position entails teaching small group 3- 5 people) Pilates & Yoga Sessions, in addition to private Yoga/Pilates.
\n \nResponsibilities
\n \n- \n
- Candidate will be responsible for teaching small group Yoga and Pilates to older adults. This position is a part-time position that is a great complement to a full-time job or for someone that is looking for additional income and a flexible schedule. \n
Qualifications
\n \n- \n
- Candidate must have a minimum of ten years experience teaching Yoga and/or Pilates to older adults and will be certified by a recognized industry organization such as Stott Pilates etc... \n
- Instructor must be friendly, high energy and have strong communication and customer service skills and enjoy working with older adults. \n
- Must have own liability insurance. \n
Required Skills
\n \n- \n
- Ten Year Experience in teaching Yoga and/or Pilates. \n
- Ability to work with older adults. \n
Preferred Skills
\n \n- \n
- Additional certifications in fitness or wellness. \n
- Strong communication skills. \n
Pay range and compensation package
\n \n$60 per 50 minute session, bonus and holiday pay.
