We are looking for a senior civil engineer who is motivated, dynamic, and willing to work diligently in a fast-paced team environment. Qualifications California registered Professional Engineer. BS or MS degree in civil engineering. At least seven years of experience in planning and design of infrastructures for water industry. Hydraulics and/or structural experience is a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Proficiency in AutoCAD and EPAnet is a plus. Good English verbal and writing skills are required. Duties As a project engineer/manager, perform engineering design for infrastructures such as pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, and associated components. Prepare design drawings/details and oversee preparation of design drawings. Prepare technical specifications, reports, letters, and cost estimates. Communicate and coordinate with team members, vendors, clients, inspectors, utility agencies, and contractors. Perform research, studies, and site investigations. Provide construction support services, including shop drawing reviews, response to RFIs, site visits, attend meetings, etc. Support senior team members.
