Fine Dining Greeter (A Land Remembered)

Summary:

The Fine Dining Greeter will greet the guests and facilitate the prompt and accurate seating and service of all guests, accept payment for food and beverage, make proper change and help servers in assuring quality service based on Rosen Standards. They will coordinate seating rotation to balance work load among servers, oversee dining room cleanliness, maintenance, and monitor service to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests according to server rotation and guest preference.
• Accept and enter restaurant reservations into the system according to house procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of menus, equipment, and work area.
• Assist guests with seating arrangements, special requests, directions, and hotel's general information.
• Answer phones in a polite and professional manner and direct phone calls accordingly.
• Monitor the floor and interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction and an enjoyable dining experience.
• Responsible for performing opening and closing duties to ensure proper restaurant setting.
• Uphold the company's drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies within the workplace.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of fine dining experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Be able to work short distances, numerous times during a shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. infrequently.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
