Production Operator

Overview Revolution is now hiring for a Production Operator position in Kilgore, TX. This position works Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Ensure that product being produced meets quality guidelines set by the Quality Control Department. Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean, neat, and organized. Be able to troubleshoot and perform repairs on Converting Department production lines (production machine problems or minor maintenance). Have hand tools to perform the job as outlined by the operator’s tool list. Follow all housekeeping and good operating procedures as set by the American Institute of Baking. Be able to change rolls of material using Converting Department equipment in a timely and safe manner. Work safely, prioritizing personal safety and that of fellow employees, and follow all company work rules and safety requirements. Complete all paperwork in accordance with company guidelines (including Setup sheets, Quality Control Sheets, and Production sheets). Work with and assist packers to keep production lines running (including making boxes, stacking boxes, packing and labeling product where needed). Help clean up and organize the Converting Department at the end of the shift for the on-coming shift (including ensuring machines are loaded with rolls, trash cans are empty, bags replaced, and pallets organized). Collaborate with fellow operators to keep the shift and department running at the highest standard with minimal downtime. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Machinery experience. Good mechanical abilities. Math aptitude. Constantly lifts and carries up to 25 lbs. and frequently lifts and carries up to 50 lbs. Must be able to multi-task. Occasionally pushes up to 100 lbs. and moves up to 900 lbs. using a pallet jack. Must be able to read a tape measure to the 1/16th. Voluntary overtime (in excess of 40 hours per week) as needed. Must be able to stand 8 hours. Must be able to tolerate light smoke (on occasion) in the department. About Revolution It’s time to redefine possible.
