Job Description
Advanced and basic life support transport, emergency and non-emergency transport and inter-facility transport.Qualified candidates will be state licensed EMT with current Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certification and a valid Georgia Driver's License.
Primary responsibility is for the pre-hospital emergency medical care of the citizens of Ben-Hill County. This includes both emergency and non-emergency medical care and transportation. Secondary responsibilities include assisting in the emergency and non-emergency care of patients within the Hospital. The EMT is an employee of Dorminy Medical Center and is expected to follow the policies and procedures of the facility. The EMT answers to the EMS director. In the absence of the EMS Director he/she answers to the Assistant EMS Director. In reference to on-scene patient care situations the EMT answers to the Paramedic in charge.
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates will be state licensed paramedics with current Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certification and a valid Georgia Driver's License. Flexible shifts are available as we are building our team at Dorminy and are looking to fill several slots. MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license in the State of Georgia
- Licensed EMT in the State of Georgia
- Current AHA CPR & ACLS certification
- Driver's License (Required)
- At least 1 Year Experience as an EMT
